Eli and I arrived in southern Italy this week for vacation, and to do some family history research and touring. This morning we went to visit Prata di Principato Ultra and Pratola Serra, neighboring towns in the province of Avellino where my Vitale and Ferrara family was from.
We had family addresses from 19th century records but when we arrived, we learned that those street names no longer exist so we weren’t able to find them. However, we did explore the older part of the town where they were probably located.
