The Island of Capri

Today we walked around the town of Amalfi and decided to hop on a boat to Capri. It was a 90 minute boat ride including a stop in Positano, another incredible place to see.

The beginning of the path to the town center – a very long, very steep climb

About half-way up the path, we came upon what I believe is called the Shrine to Our Lady of OhMyGodHowMuchFartherIsIt.

I would love to tell you we had a fabulous time in the town center but by the time we got to the top, it was time to go back down in time to catch our return boat. At least we walked off the gelato we had just eaten!
